As a photographer, it is part of my job to know when I am going to be a good fit for a couple. This starts during our initial conversations over email and phone calls, but during an engagement session I can always tell within the first 10-15 minutes if my couple and I are going to be a great fit for each other or not. This was especially the case with Glenn and Dana, I love how they came into the session relaxed and ready to go.

I start every session off by telling every single client (whether it is a wedding, engagement, portrait, or branding session) that the first 15 minutes will feel awkward, but that we will find our groove and it will all just click. Glenn and Dana were almost immediately comfortable and confident in taking instruction and posing through their session. As a photographer I cannot tell you how much I love it when couples are able to jump right in and trust me to take care of them during their session. We chose the Raleigh Rose Garden as the location, and while it was hot and humid it was also absolutely stunning! I am so glad we went for this location and it is definitely one I will be keeping in my back pocket for future sessions.

Glenn and Dana met at a mutual job, and have been together for 8 years. The level of comfort and joy they share together was beautiful to get to capture. Dana has the most gorgeous smile, seriously, just one of those smiles that you cannot help but to be happy with her I just loved it and Glenn always knew exactly what to say to get her to give that special smile.

These two are getting married this October, so be on the lookout for their wedding blog post. I wont spoil it, but from what I know so far it is going to be STUNNING!
